Codecs?

Does anyone know where I can download Codecs for media player? I just got me these great SVCD's but cannot view the video clips. Any help would be appreciated.

to download codecs, i think u just need to open win media player, click on HELP and select the update media player function... searches for updates and does it for u while u are online..

another good VCD player is called 'QuickVCD player' which i just downloaded from download.com

Try those. For SVCD's you can play them in the old Media Player 6.1/6.4, it handles them great. In the run menu type mplayer2.exe. Don't worry about media player 7+ it's ****. Just install all the codecs and ver6 works a treat.
