Any fans of sydney band Cog? I couldn't seem to find any other threads on them, so I'll start this one.

If you like The Butterfly Effect, Deftones, Tool type of progressive/rock/metal, their album "The New Normal" is worth checking out (or downloading). The production on the album is first class (one time Tool producer Sylvia Massy Shivy).

Catchy riffs/choruses, great kit sound and a tru blue aussie voice over - you can't ask for much more.

Quality live band as well.

Got a couple of their songs...not too bad. The singer features on one of the Butterfly Effect's tracks on 'Begins Here'...Perception Twin I think the song is.

saw them play with shihad 3 times over the last 2 weeks... really tight band, and have grown on me heaps... i've bought their album and love it...
