I don't wanna be the naysayer but....
It's only 1 game and let's face it, we weren't exactly up against the best opposition.

Agree. But for a guy coming back from 2 knee recos.. hes seems to be back on track.

I just think with a few more Coburg games/ NAB cup games he should be lining up Rnd 1 2009

Coming back from the injuries he's had was always going to be about 2 things.

1. His body..If it can't holdup, or at least keep a good standard, then it's all over.

2. His mind...Needs confidence, both that his body will hold up and that he can still play at this kind of level.

40 quality touches, whoever it's against, will have him feeling a bit better about himself, and running all day indicates the body is doing OK.

All i'm saying is that he was set for a comeback and then TWANG! I just don't want to build my hopes up too much is all. The guy has broken my heart too many times.

And for Cogs to dominate VFL means nothing, Cogs even at 50% capacity is head and shoulders above the whole comp.

He's been getting over 30 possies every week.

Nice to hear he's moving freely, and the 40 touches will boost his confidence and help him get over the mental aspect that knee injuries bring.

Yeah but he's been to Germany now and got some chook blood in him. Rooke hasn't missed a beat and neither has Cogs.:thumbsu:

How do you reckon he feels?

Cant wait to watch him on Saturday I have my eye on him and Meyer. I want to bring that number 24 jumper out of the closet again.
