Which band is better?

IMO im going to choose INXS for reasons unknown

I was brought up listening to Cold chisel as a teenager but I don't listen to it much at all now. Perhaps it aged a bit and I moved on.

Never, ever did like INXS although I can appreciate that they were a good pop band at the time. I just despise 80's pop music. So they may have been good at that era of mainstream pop but I hated that era of mainstream pop.

Thank god for the 90's I say.;)

Well I love 80's mainstream pop,in fact as far as chart pop goes it is the best there is. I'm primarily referring to the early 80's up to 1985 or 1986. So for me it's INXS even though I was never a huge fan and love some Chisel. Especially Flame Trees.

Chisel easily, Forever Now > Anything by INXS (even though I loves me some INXS).

My favourite CC song Bow River, Saturday Night, My Baby, When the War is over.

I reckon Saturday Night is one of their best Bow River very good, When The War is Over OK, My Baby not a great song.

Most of my faves are on their first album and would be mainly Barnesy numbers but my very fave, One Long Day, is part Barnes and part Mossy.

Chisel. Too many classic tracks, ranging from slow ballads all the way to full on rock'n'roll.

When the War is over is actually sung by Ian Moss and Jimmy Barnes.

As is Saturday Night :)

INXS for me, Kiss the Dirt, Never Tear us Apart and By My Side are great songs
