I was looking last night to find out anything but couldn't. At least who played, no news at all from the club or anywhere else.

As fans can't be there, I believe the club should get some news about these to keel the fans involved. Has the club got rid of most from the media dept?

Aside from the news that Balta supposedly played well on Cox and Nankervis played well against Lynch, we actually know nothing whatsoever.

Ran into one of the younger guys this morning. Very coy but I gleaned that our mob won the match and played well on the whole, and he said especially Wills and Sier around the footy. Rantall I think is the carry over for tonight and only played part of the match. No idea about goal kickers or Stephenson unfortunately

Thanks for that Saha, I appreciate seeing this information. It's a bit sad that we are reduced to gleaning snippets of information through word of mouth and hearsay.

The Richmond board is equally upset by their lack of coverage of the game.

If its a trend that continues across the weekend then I think we can safely conclude that its an AFL order prohibiting club's releasing information on the scratch matches.

However, if other clubs release footage/info from their scratch matches this weekend then its very reasonable to expect Collingwood to do so next week going forward.

Whats the big deal about keeping this game secret. Piss poor by the AFL. Morons should be looking for as much publicity as possible i would of thought. Be nice for the thousands of members to know who got through unscathed, who got injured etc.

Have you missed the news re the cuts to the clubs. Resources probably no longer exist.

Nothing to do with the AFL, clubs footy depts and admin have been gutted due to lack of funding.

Fairly sure that was a piss take. Balta was playing FB, presumably on Cox most of the game. Their coach said Balta did well on Cox but if he seriously kicked 4, we'd know about it.
