I would recommend to anyone with an interest in all things mystical to have a go at this test. Based on the random colours you select in order of preference, a profile is formulated. 5 of us did this at work and while it does get pretty personal, I believe it is surprisingly accurate based on your mood.

Let me know how you go and if you think there's any truth to it.

Done it, & can recommend it. I usually give these sorts of things very little time, but this one hit home a bit.

These 'personality profiles' just play on normal psychological tendencies.... it's not hard to apply generic sentences/paragraphs to facets of your everyday life.

Unless you're life is 100% perfect, and you're happy with absolutely everything (family, relationships, job/finances), you're naturally gonna relate with something on these 'personal desrciptions'.

I did it out of interest. Main jist of what it said was "there's something in your life that you're not happy with" ... No shlt?!? :)

The test could tell you were (hopefully now past tense) constipated!?!

In that case my erectile functions shall remain anonymous.

D'OH! ;)

This is true. However...

It would appear that at this particular time of your life you are going through a tough time. You are feeling (or have recently felt) miserable and depressed and perhaps you are still feeling that way. Maybe all the trials and tribulations just aren't worth it. Your present anxieties could have been associated with either your 'private' or 'business' life - whatever ... what you really need at this time is to get away from it all, maybe a vacation - alone, or better still, perhaps with someone that you know really cares for you, someone who appreciates you - not for what you have but for who you are. A short vacation may be all you need to afford you the time to recover and to get back to your normal vital self.

You don't really give in. You follow your beliefs and ideals to the bitter end. You are the personification of stubbornness and whatever may transpire, right or wrong, you refuse to compromise or make concessions.

At times all of us would like to be like the ostrich - to be able to bury our heads in the sand and let the rest of the world go by, but unfortunately you can't do just that - you have to face up to reality. A little peace and quiet would be most acceptable at this time but if only one could turn a blind eye to the problems of the day! Tomorrow is another day and who knows, it could be 'today' (not tomorrow) that could be the first day of the rest of your life!

All of your stress arises from lack of mutual understanding. The existing situation is unsatisfactory and you feel that you are unable to improve it without the help and co-operation of others. The need for understanding and for affectionate 'give and take' remains unsatisfied. You are experiencing the feeling of being 'handcuffed' - 'tied down' - 'hindered' - 'restrained' and this untenable situation is giving rise to impatience, irritability and the desire to escape from it all.

Matters are not all that they would appear to be and you are critical of the existing conditions which you feel are confused and disorganised. You are therefore looking for a modus operendi which will simplify the situation so that you will be able to see the 'trees in the woods'.

This is very much how I feel like at the moment. I'm very sceptical of this stuff, and while I don't believe in it, it did sum me up at this present time fairly well.

Hitter,

Don't ya find it a little funny that every single person who's replied to this thread has found their 'unique' description to be unbelievably accurate? There's a reason -- the descriptions are all passages that can apply to anyone.... they're inherently designed to be 'accurate' because people will automatically relate the general description to specific aspects of their own lives.

Anyone could read your description and just as easily apply it to themselves ... it says you're going through a 'tough time' ... everyone's got their problems, and facing situations which are tough ... it shouldn't take some magical allignment of fave colours (especially Brown and Gold!;)) to tell people that they're facing difficult situations and that they should keep pushing on.

Change the colours around, mate. See if there's one description on that website that you can't apply to yourself in any way whatsoever. Or read that same passage that you posted again in a year's time when this tough period you're going through has fixed itself ... I'll put my house on the description still being as frightingly accurate (only with different dilemmas) as it is now.

Gren,

:D:D

Took me a while to get that ... very good :D

I agree with you, trust me - I know it's bullsh*t. However, I did it saying it should say a few specific things, and it did say them.

Anyway, it's a good excuse for a holiday. ;)

I got that paragraph too, as well as:

At this particular time you are perhaps setting yourself too high a target and so you are living in the land of 'make believe'. It would also seem that you have been bitterly disappointed in the past and you are at a stage where you feel that you can trust nobody. You would like to forget it all and turn your back on the past and start anew.

You are a leader in every sense of the word. You know where you are going and you know what you need to do in order to get there. You exercise an inherent initiative in overcoming obstacles and difficulties. You either hold, or wish to achieve, a position of authority by means of which full control can be exerted over events.

Although you are, deep down, a very caring person, you are very particular in the choice of friends and indeed very demanding at times. You can be most quarrelsome and controversial and it is because of this argumentative trait you can at times explode into open conflict - conflict with even those you may care for and love. It is because of this inherent argumentative streak in you that may have resulted in broken hopes and dreams.

You wish to safeguard yourself against criticism or conflict and to embed yourself in a protected situation. You are a difficult person to relate to and very difficult to please.

Some of it is correct, but it wasn't overlly accurate.
I think Westy's sussed it out ;).
