1. We haven't overpaid for someone we could have got a lot cheaper. This means I don't want to read we have used a pick in the first 2 rounds for a fringe player from a club lower than us on the ladder. After thinking about it during the last 2 days, pick 26 for Seaby would not be smart, we should put it out there the deal is either pick 42 or higher or stay at the Eagles. Odds are the Eagles wont take this as they have Seaby contracted for next year so its not like they'll lose him for nothing.

or
2. We have underpaid for someone we should have paid a lot more for. PIcking up someone like McIntosh for pick 26 would be great but again unlikely to happen. That being the case, we can effectively forget about getting anyone else cheaper than we should.

or
3. We walk away with picks 8, 26, 42 & 58 in the bank to use on draft day. This is starting to become my preferred option, keep all our picks load up with 3 quality players and if possible try and steal Cousins from the Saints/Pies if they haven't taken him by their round 3 picks.

As long as one of these 3 options comes up I'll be happy.

*Note: I know I was against getting Cousins earlier in the year but if he can play for even 1-2 more years it would be a great boost to the development of our younger midfielders. So why not take a chance especially if it is only using pick 58 in the ND. Not like that kid will end up as a 3 time Brownlow medal winner now is it?

if we can get a steal from a trade like we did with morton last year ill be very happy

Yeah I'd say that heavily touched up photo's extremely flattering to it's subject. Ugly lesbian skank.:thumbsd:

Sorry RT, I've seen *ahem* "highlights" of that show on "The Soup" and frankly, it had to be said. (I agree with your post BTW:thumbsu:)
Not too fussed on the thoughts about the 4foot bisexual, I am glad though that we agree on the outcomes from trade week which is the most important thing.

BTW hope you approve of the new av.

Basically you're saying is "I hope we don't get ripped off.... I hope we rip someone else off.... and if not, I hope we just keep our picks".

So I agree ;):D

Don't trade in 2008 unless we can rip someone off (Morton last year the perfect opportunity we should take advantage of).

Since we no longer have Miller throwing his weight around I fear we will give in easier than in previous years.

I am more worried that TW's influence may bring a has been like Nathan Thompson, Farren Ray or....choke.....choke....Jeff White

Pleeeeeeeeaaaaasssssseeeee no more flankers or Bulldog recycled players like Farren Ray:thumbsd:

Wouldnt mind trading one of schultz pettifer JON casserly or polo for a second round pick or a straight swap for adam thomson or seaby

I'll be happy if we at least have a 1st and 2nd round draft pick to use on Draft day.

I wouldn't mind getting Thomson with a 3rd rounder, maybe we could also trade someone off to get a late 1st or 2nd rounder.

Farren Ray would be a good get it my books.

I will be happy if we keep Danny Meyer and Dean Polo and trade Pettifer and JON. And we gotta keep number 8 pick no matter what!!!

You'd need to package three of them together for a second round pick higher than 30!

Come 2.05pm Friday I'll Be Happy If.....

I've left work for the day and got a beer in my hand!!!

McIntosh would be a fantastic get, but its unlikely, I dont want to give up Pick 8, but i'd be willing to give up our second rounder.

Perhaps we could package Schulz and Meyer to one of the Adelaide clubs for a pick to use in conjunction with our second pick for him? :thumbsu:

I can't understand why people keep suggesting we will/should trade Pettifer - if he was fit then fair enough, but the bloke is recovering from a knee reco and as such will be out for most of next year, even Freo wouldn't be stupid enough to take that. Before anyone mentions Prismall, if he goes somewhere it'll be with a long term view - can't say the same for any club who'd take a punt on Petts.

Pretty sure any Tiger fan will be satisfied with Trade week 2008.

We've picked up a bargain so far, and are holding steady with our negotiations with other clubs.

Proof that the Tigers have become the most polished, professional group of negotiators in the AFL.
This combined with top class talent scouts, a fantastic coaching department and upcoming training facilities that will soon be the envy of every sporting organisation in the country makes Richmond the club of choice

Well done to TW, the recruiting dept, the board and everyone involved at Tigerland for making the Tigers the benchmark all AFL, and indeed every football club across this great land, aspire to :thumbsu:

Ok, now that Thomson is all but here.

I will be happy if we don't use our 1st or 2nd round pick on Seaby, and wouldn't mind if we could trade a Meyer or JON for a 2nd rounder(Too Hopeful?).

I feel a bit dirty looking at it. And I thought you were so pure....
