Anyone else get the feeling the Eagles cheer squad had been invited into the commentary box on Saturday?

Sure, there were periods where there was some positive comments on how freo were playing but for the majority of the game we had:

Jacko randomly calling Eagles players names out that were off the ball that he thought should receive the ball.

Many, many times we had the ball, moving forwards into attack and the commentary was all focused on what WCE were not doing (crap forward entries especially from Jakovich). I remember thinking to myself about 5 times, "Goddam they are still crapping on about the Eagles".

And here I was before the game thanking my lucky stars that finally someone had come to their senses and not allowed that waste of space Tony Shaw into the state. I wasn't happy that Casey wasn't there, he goes alright, even if he doesn't know half our players names, but I was willing to trade off his absence against the overwhelming joy of having no Shaw. Then what happens! The only one to turn up late in the game is Shaw!! Argh $%%&!

Anyway, rant almost over. I still can't believe the back 5 pages of Saturday's worst had all Eagles related headlines.

Still, good to see Jako's team languishing in 13th.

Yeah Jacko doesn't make it very subtle and why Shaw bothered showing up is beyond me

the worst guy was the guy interviewing the players - mentioned in every interview he got there at 3/4 quarter time. Guess what mate, noone gives a ____.

Jacko is a joke. He hates us and it's plain obvious. Loved how the ball was coming out of the WC fifty and he started saying with that patronising tone "Freo are playing right into West Coast hands here...", when the ball was kicked directly to a Freo player, one handball to a running player and goal from 45m. He was lucky they cut to a break or he would have had to explain his comment.

Hated Jacko as a player and hate him even more as a commentator. Typical WC filth.
