my father has asked me to make a email adrress for our company. for example

carlos@companyname.com.au

anyone know how i go about making an email with our company name on it instead of example hotmail or whatever. thank you.

you def. can quite easily as well
there are a few websites around that do it just google it
of course there is a fee...but u have to buy a domain name and most services provide like 5/10 emails along with that

Register a domain name - do it thru your ISP (don`t bother pissing around for the "cheapest"). Get the ISP to host the domain name and set up some email accounts to go with it.
