Hey guys,
Normally my laptop has been running SC2 with absolutely no issues at all, until I went up to QLD.

I plugged into the hotel internet and started running SC2. Initially everything was fine, but then SC2 was draining my CPU hard and it was running at 1 FPS in game :( . Now I scanned for any viruses with Spybot and picked up nothing, and also keep checking my task manager to end anything that is draining the CPU (MSN, Updates etc) but even when I close these things it still runs really slowly and doesn't pick up.

Any suggestions?

BTW here are my specs (I know for a fact my laptop should be able to run SC2 with no problems at all, but I'll post them anyway. I'm also a bit of a n00b with specs so I copied this directly from My Computer->Properties and the DirectX Diagnostic test):
CPU - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU Q 720 @ 1.60 GHz (8 CPUs), ~1.6GHz
RAM - 6GB
DirectX 11
Video Card - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650

what energy profile are you running? check that you're running on the highest settings. also check that your laptop isnt overheating
