Computer Text Blurry

All of the text on my screen is blurry, and It's definitely not my eyesight does anyone know how to fix this?

Are you using a non native resolution for your monitor?

Don't think so, there was something wrong with a game I installed ages ago, and it wouldn't start, for some reason it went back to normal, but then when I fixed the game it stopped and went back to this.

The same game froze and I had to quit through ctrl-alt-delete and the resolution was 800 x 600 and when I changed it back to 1024 x 768 it went blurry. It was fine in 1024x768 before hand.

Happens to me all the time, usually when I stumble home from a BBQ or something and decide to log in to BigFooty.

Resolution settings/monitors rooted/eyes are buggered/too many beers are your options

Just keep an eye out on it. The screen tends to go all blurry when its about to die. Starts with just a little then over a few days gets worse.

What was the problem?

Don't know I just put in a CD and a screen saying: Play, Uninstall etc. turned up so I pressed exit and the screen went black for a second and fixed it.

Must have been a resolution problem then..

Just found an easier way, I just pressed Auto on my screen and it fixed it.

also, if you have an lcd screen, you can use Cleartype to improve font quality.
