OUR out and out champion!!

Chris was yesterday awarded the captaincy, with Scott West vice -captain, and Brad Johnson deputy. If you saw any footage or heard it on the audio at the doggies site.... he sounded like a natural!!!

I was rapt with the fact that he said that he has been eagerly awaiting this moment for a VERY long time... and can't wait to get into it... serves me right for saying that he may shy away from it

6 years as a vice captain to Scotty has done him the world of good, and Terry has put a leadership structure in place which should prove to be very successful in the long term, something we have been missing with previous leadership core's at the club.

Anyway, I just wated to express my thoughts on a fantastic achievement for someone who has given the club so much over his career and let's be honest- probably saved it at the end of 96. May the Rolls Royce lead us to a premiership... one day

Adding my congratulations to Chris Grant getting the captaincy of the Doggies. With Scott West as his vice-captain, I think the Doggies have their strongest possible leadership team.
