A little late but I just wanted to say well played guys and goodluck for the rest of the season. Although I thought we competed well in close, you guys taught our guys a lesson especially your ability to find space and use pace out wide.

Tex is my personal favourite player outside the dogs and I hope he finds some great form soon although he is working really hard which I noticed on Sunday

Thanks i hope Ryan will be alright

Yep, he is another smooth mover but doesn't do it often enough.

Question for you bulldogrob but has Griffin got the best out of himself and used all of his talent?

He seems to have an enormous amount of talent and then gets going, but he seems to either get injured or go missing? He reminds me of Bernie Vince. Can be so much more but fr some reason just can not put it all together.

Saying that, I don't watch the doggies as often as you, so maybe off the bark. (LOL that was a typo, not a pun but will leave it)

You're a good sport. Well done. :thumbsu:

Just on games played to date, it looks like you Bullies supporters have a long hard cold winter ahead of you.

Is there any light at the end of the tunnel to cheer you up about your long-term prospects??

Jack Macrae and Jake Stringer looked good bulldogrob
Yep from 2010 I think we are really starting to nail our drafting......these two ripped the vfl apart the week before so very excited by them..

Was the first time I saw crouch and he's a impressive looking kid as well

He is underated imo..........has been our best player for the last 3 years but in poor teams so doesn't get the credit he deserves but really he is our only class onballer at the moment that is in their prime so seems to be tagged every week with little support.I agree with injuries as he always seems to be carrying a few niggles. Now that Cooney is finding form hopefully they takes some of the pressure off Griff

IMO, he is just as good as Swan, Pendlebery, Thomas and those other big names who always get the attention but because he plays fir a smaller club, doesn't get that attention.

You have a Beauty in that one.

Yep makes it easier being a star in a star midfield......Just hope we improve enough over the next 3-4 years to allow him to show us what he can do in finals!!!

Haven't been over on the AGF forum to take your medicine yet Rob!!!!:p

bulldogrob what do you think about Brett Goodes i find him to be overrated just because Adam is his brother
Don't think anyone overrates him.........he's just a good honest average Afl player but the story behind his arrival in league football is a good one being 29 and all. Being Adam's brother probably gave him a bit more media attention but that's what the media tend to do :p

I always felt that Boyd got the plaudits that Griffen was more deserving of. Ryan is a great user of the ball and has form in finals series as well, though he was sadly let down by a few more prominent teammates.

I was impressed by Goodes, as he is very good in traffic and generally makes the right decision. A couple of howler shanks let him down, but age aside he is still inexperienced at AFL level and that's to be expected.

Youngsters are looking good, will be a good test for them for the remainder of the year without Wood, Higgins and Griffen for a short period.

Cooney has been amazing too, I hope he can stay fit.

Thanks for being classy.

The scoreline wasn't flattering as it was a much tighter contest than that. Conditions we're awful and you could tell how inexperienced the dogs list was. Crows players swarmed all over the contest leaving dogs players outnumbered and unable to get clean entries inside 50.

I thought Goodes provided a good option for the Dogs. He got plenty of it. Cooney is looking in good form too.
