From a Eagles fan, congrats to the Swannies great game. Very hard to take though.

Thank you Eagles for a great game. I am so happy that the swans won but am glad it wasn't a throw away game. I have followed the swans since meeting my husband 6 years ago. I have watched my stepson support them for 6 years with absolute passion and my 80 year old non footy mum (raised 4 daughters) even knows about the swans cause of her step grandson. My husband timtoolman is the most unbiased supporter I have ever seen, a total smartass but nin biased when watching a game, sickening really when swans are down and he is sitting there saying what a great pass, mark, grab, the opposing side made, or yes umpi was correct in that decision against the swans. Also I grudgingly admit he makes a comment or a call on play and then after the add or replay the commentors actually repeat word for word exactly what my husband has said. Makes me wish HE was being paid to be a commentator instead of the obviously biased ones that get that highly prized and paid job most of the time.

Congratulations Sydney. Great win. I said in an earlier post Nic Fosdike would have trouble getting back with the injuries he has suffered but he is back in a big way showing a true testament to his strength of character. Well done Sydney.
