Good win... again ... Blues.

You certainly have our number. Not sure what it is about you guys, but we just can't get up against you. Fev seems to save his best for us too.

I actually predicted we would lose, so I'm not shocked, but not happy anyway!

Good win. :thumbsu:

Agreed, good win by your mob. As I said in another thread, you blokes just seem to matchup well on us, as we do on Geelong.

Shocking coaching by Malthouse heavily influenced the outcome IMO. Fev was having an absolute field day from the first few minutes of the game, yet Malthouse persisted with Harry O on him for most of the day.

That said, our players had the opportunity to close the game in the third quarter but didn't, which was probably due as much to our complacency and mentality heading into the game, as it was Carlton's persistance. For some reason this season, it seems your mob has headed into the game really believing you can knock us off, whereas we have headed in thinking it's an easy four points. Definitely was not the case.

Once again, congratulations. You blokes have a good chance to make finals, with your next few games against opposition you would give yourselves a fair chance at beating. The last few rounds is what might trouble you, but with the way the Saints and Roos are going at the moment you guys should get in in front of those teams.

Who would you have put on Fev? He looked to have Brown's measure too

He did. But Brown did MUCH better than Harry. Mick should've double-teamed him. But it wouldn't of changed much I don't think, we were flat, probably because of your one on one pressure. We had too many passengers - Davis and Fraser for two, both who are carrying injuries, but if they're going to be liabilities... they shouldn't be played. There are no excuses. Pendlebury clearly wasn't right either, he shouldn't have been brought back.

Basically, you guys wanted it FAR more. I really question the desire of our boys after games like this, because it's evident during play that it's lacking.
