Congratulations from another North Melbourne member - one of the two best displays I have ever seen from another team, and a perfect time to deliver it. There's nothing better - when it's your own team - than one of those golden days where everything goes your way, the matchups work, the umpires are kind, the ball bounces right and a big win feels like it is just meant to be.

Terrible performance by our guys, but we aren't as bad as that - I give all credit to fantastic play and coaching by your boys. North were completely outplayed all over the ground and taught a lesson - which I hope all our guys from Dean downwards take on board for next year (next week is too much to hope for).

You won't need much, but good luck for the rest of the finals.
