They were probably bitching when we had 4 players named in 2000 as well.
Well deserved Fletch. You have to feel sorry for Scotty Lucas but. There hasn't been a more consistent player over the last 2 years.

Yeah, was very very stiff to miss out last year.
I don't think cam mooney deserved it, he was in the best team all year, and only kicked 55 goals, with plenty of good delivery.
Surely reiwolt (Sp?) or Lucas performed better.
i think riewoldt and buddy franklin deserved to b in the side ahead of S.Johnson and C.Mooney both had good years but Riewoldt and buddys were better Lucas was also stiff he should have been in ahead of Johnson and the big hairy cat as well

Last year he had more marks more kicks more goals in a far far worse side then pavlich did up untill round 22 and he didnt get named.
Don't look on the afl site for the stats cause they included finals. Just trust me.

Lucas has had a way better sesaon than Mooney.
Well done Fletch. I feel a bit insulted for him that he was put on the bench though.

They had comparable seasons. But either way, Reiwoldt and Franklin would be ahead of Lucas. I think Mooneys selection was warranted. He kicked 55 goals, had alot of scoring assists and was the main focal point of the best team in the league. Without him, they would be a worse team.
And as I said, even if you think Mooney shouldnt have been included, compare Lucas' season to Franklin and Reiwoldts.
Let's thank Mal for freeing up Fletch so he could gain selection!

ur joking arent u...if he didnt get a spot in the starting 18 certainly should of on the bench...Lucas had a fantastic year and deserved all australian

Certainly not joking. Look at the big forwards that got in ahead of him. Pavlich, J.Brown, Mooney. You certainly cant dispute Pav or Brown. Mooney can be disputed, but Reiwoldt and Franklin were probably ahead of Lucas anyway. Im not saying Lucas had a bad season. Infact I reckon he will be top 2 in the Crichon. But there were 5 players IMO that were more worthy of selection than Lucas this year.

What about scoreboard impact. Goals plus assists. Or goals per game. Geez Longy, I thought you were smarter than taking a simple stat and making it sound as if it is the be all and end all
There is no way Steve Johnson was better than Brad Johnson or Ebert this season.
