Congratulations on an emphatic victory against the Doggies last night. With the game starting at 4.40am my time, I just couldn't make it until half time, about 6.00am. I was hopeful at 3/4 quarter time but the better team on the night won.

How were drinks before the match, Shinboners and Darky? Wish I could have been there but at the time y'all were drinking, I was dreaming of the start of summer! If only it would get here to Chicago soon! Seemed like a Melbourne July day with rain and temperatures in the low teens. I almost went outside to listen to the net broadcast to imagine I was in Melbourne, but my earphone extension wouldn't reach. Again, congratulations and we'll see you later in the season AND in the Finals!

Mate, the drinks session didn't go as planned...let's just say there were a few complications, and most of us didn't get to the bar until after 7, by which time others had left...

It was a great night for footy (with the roof shut, it'd have to be!), and it was a closer game than the final margin suggests, was really a blowout in the end.

Didn't meet any of the Doggies mob there, but based on how much we Roos were consuming, I think we can safely say that we won the battle of the drinkers too.
