Only a minute % of AFL players reach this milestone. Congrats on reaching 250 and leaving everything out on the park every time you crossed the line. Ex captain, club champ and all Australian. A career that few of even those that were listed could dream of.

I remember at the game there was a bit of a hush around the ground, Danger acted liked he was murdered by Sloane.

I feared we would lose him for the GF.

What a moment.

I had some money on him for the Norm Smith. He started on fire with two goals and was looking like a sure thing, but the team threw in the towel.

Luckily, I also had him first goal in the GF and that paid for my many drinks to drown my sorrows.

Met him once early in his career. Great fella.
