Hey there,

Well done on a terrific win, after last weeks loss absolutely gutted me i was suprised that i was starting to barrack for sydney in the finals midway thro this week, and after tonights performance beating the saints made me realize why i am. They all beleieve in each other, they play good honest footy and the coaching style of Paul Roos, he is an absolute magician. Now i can see that you guys are real decent footy side, as i havent seen you guys play that much during the year. I really hope you guys win the Grand Final and show either Adelaide or West Coast that they are not the best sides in the comp as ypu have with Geelong and Stkilda in the last couple of weeks.

Congrats on a Terrific win and Ill be Barracking for them Next week

Being and Eagles fan I HOPE we can knock of the Crows and meet you guys in the GF. I actually tipped the Saints tonight but it just goes to show that in critical finals games the team that wants it most will prevail!

Thanks. The Saints injuries were always going to make it difficult for your guys to win. Had the Saints won tonight, I would have been cheering the Saints home in the Grand Final. Long droughts are meant to be broken.

The pre match reminded me of '97 grandfinal ....where all the scribes already had the Saints as winners- but I new better.

Even through the match I could sense a comback.

With Oloughlin,Goodes and Hall needing to pull thier finger out I just thought you may have a bit to come.......and ya did it.

Yes, well done Swans. I'm so pleased for your grand ole club. Oh I remember, as a kid, the days of the Albert Park Lake premiership whenever the Swans played the Saints, clubs situated at opposite ends of the lake.

I remember well too the eleventh hour decision to save the Swans by Michael Willisee and business associates when it looked as though the then VFL's decision to get amongst rugby league had failed.

With a restart under the coaching and guidance of Ron Barrassi your club has been a courageous one ever since in all facets of the game. Your supporter base has grown magnificently with South Melbourne followers coming back into the fold in droves. And now a second grand final over that period. You have a cool coach in Roos and some great players, all so close in the big city of Sydney where I'm sure even most ardent rugby league supporters will be wishing you well next Saturday.

Well, someone get down to Central Station and give the stationmaster a CD or tape of the club's theme song. I'm sure if... er sorry, when you Swannies win the big one on Saturday it will be played at CS for the next week and maybe beyond.
