Congrats guys on finally getting a win.

I'm looking at round 10 against Collingwood for the next chance we'll have.

While Spider and Mitchell dominated the game, we just didn't make the most of our opportunities up forward. On the other hand, you guys had two genuine stars inside 50 (Richo and Brown) who proved the difference.

In terms of your less experienced players, I was pleased to see Shane Tuck have a good game, and thought Deledio was good in the second half after struggling early.

Look forward to more tight contests over the next few years as our clubs rebuild.

P.S. When do you guys get to play Collingwood?

Must say, haven't seen either team have a crac like that in a long time. Thurgood and Buddy were both terrific, so some good signs for you guys down the track. Mitchell and Spida have to be the best clearance team in the business, bar none.

Hawks are a big chance in knocking off the bombers this weekend IMO if they attack the pill like they did yesterday.

I guess when your/our team is struggling as a supporter thats all you ask for really.

Here`s hoping that loss has ripped the guts out of them . So sad to see TY go down like that in his first game

Will be barracking for the hawks like nobody`s business next week , and on Sundays performance they should be a good shot.

Good signs for both teams , and even though Tambling has not been out on the park yet , it is Franklin 1 , Tambling 0 at the minute .

Cheers mate. Hawks and tigers have done real well outta the draft and it wont be long before the bombers and magpies are our bitches. Their young talent is deplorable and their veterans are gawn!!!!

Yep. Thought I'd be more upset but to be honest, my lot had the proverbial 'RHG' and given some of the dross they've served up of late, I actually came away disappointed but not disheartened.

So congrats to your lot, good to see (from your pov) Deledio did some nice cameo's (will only get better with time) and for Coughlin to work his way into it as the game wore on. Winners-grinners but today, I've at least got a slight smile that all isn't gloom and doom in the long run (probably for either of us) and that's got to be better than what we both went through in 04.

If i had an option of beating Essendon and losing the rest of the years games by 30+points, i would take that option.

I enjoyed yesterdays game, credit to Richmond, we wernt good enough in crunch time i spose.

And turtle i too cant think of a Tandom that is better than Spida and The Extractor in clearances...

Spida and mitchell tore us a new one yesterday. Everitt always seems to relish playing against the tiges. Have to have another "chat" to staff.

Cogs form been overlooked by many, thought although a few less possies than last week that he had more impact, being in the right place at right time and bit of contact also...will improve with every game with touch still to return .....look out in a month or so
