I hope you don't mind me intruding on your board.
I'd just like to congratulate you on your meteoric rise this year. I guess as a Fremantle supporter I can relate somewhat to the feeling of poor season after poor season and watching younger players bring a silvery tinge to an other wise grey year. It's been a long time coming for you blokes but it's looking like you guys have clicked as a team.
Over the last few years I have been somewhat jealous of the amount of high draft picks you've recieved, but there's only so far that talent can take you. You're younger players are playing with a hunger and desire that has rejuvinated your whole club. This isn't just high draft picks, this is pure will to bring the club forward. It's wonderful to watch young players having the courage to take the game on and beating more highly fancied opponents. It's a credit to your clubs perseverance and you wholly deserve it.
You have an exciting brand of footy and a lot of exciting players, both playing and on the sidelines. Trengove and Scully is the makings of a top class midfield, whilst young defenders like Frawley and Grimes are showing they're not far off being elite. Petterd, Bate, Jones, Moloney and Jamar have all stepped up a gear whilst you've unearthed a couple of gems in Bail and McKenzie. How good is this team going to look when you add Morton, Watts, Blease, Gysberts and Jurrah!
You've copped a lot of flak over the last few years, both in the media and on here. But you've pulled through and now you are beginning to reap some of the rewards. Although this year might not be your year, I'm sure you're very best will be not too far away.
Best of luck this year and perhaps we will meet in the finals (who would have thought this time last year!)
