Connecting PC to TV

Hi all, just looking for some input.

I want to connect my laptop to my LCD TV so i can watch movies (have whats displayed on my laptop screen on my TV screen)

I know i need a 15-pin mini d-sub male to male to get the image across.

But do I also need an Audio Cable to connect the PC and TV?

You would need a Audio Cable to get sound playing through the speakers of the TV. They are not very hard to find.

Use HDMI if you have it, otherwise a VGA with PC audio (3.5mm RCA) lead.

yeah the TV does have DSUB input. but apparantly thats just for picture (between pc and tv)

i need the other cable for sound too.
