Listening to the Geelong post game interview for round 16. Scott mentions being beaten at the contested ball, then mentions the free kick count skews this.
WTF?
So everytime the free kick count is lopsided it makes it harder to judge if a team is actually winning the ball at a contest when free kicks aren't paid.
Maybe they should put an * by the cp stat so we know it is another convoluted Champion Data stat.
Who has the time to look back over all the times we lose the CP stat and do CP-FA for both teams?
I'm starting to think that Clearances and Tackles are the only stats that are straight forward.
