I decided I would go out and watch the South V Glenelg game sun. It was a bonus that South had Smack and Cookie playing. Now im not sure if Myke is carrying an injury while trying to play his way back into Adelaide, but he didnt even look up to pace at SANFL lvl. Had a good first quater, but that was about it, played of the wing for most of the day and just didnt have any impact. If we are looking at him in the same ilk as Dmac he just doesnt have the run and carry he is ment to be renowned for. And before others say that it is him stuck in a struggling team, South were very competitve all day and had tons of ball through the guts, it just seemed that Cookie was never on the end of a handball through the middle. However there is some serious mature age talent out there as most of you guys and girls would already know.

Anyway in summation- Myke Cook = Trade bait imo.

According to the AFC website Cook was doing a run with role. So probably more focused on his opponent while picking up 20 possessions.

You might be right, but I'd like to see him as a run with player in the mold of Aaron Joseph from Carlton. Would have the pace to go with anyone, is getting stronger, is a great tackler and has a pretty good inside game. This would also limit his weaknesses (kicking). I do believe he good still hurt the other way enough with his run and carry, but yes as a purely attacking player he is no Dmac.

He has to be a attacking player as has no defensive side to his game at all and hasnt body frame to be one and no way was he playing that role on sat. is my word and generally in a game could have one he was one of the dissapointments.
I dont rate him anywhere like other posters do but worth keeping unless get reasonable trade offer for.
Remember he played well for Souths last year when they were worse to get into Crows.
