We're on 19677 against, and Adelaide is on 19699 against. Considering they're likely to play atleast one final this year, we should end up with less against.

Yeah true. Although we'd be right up there with number of finals played, so looking at average per game should reflect even more positively on us.

Its an amazing statistic, for decades and probably generations we were pretty much a sieve. To think that for the last ten years every team has had to work harder to score against us than any other side, wow.......

If you count only Home and Away matches we would of conceded 100 points less than Adelaide this decade to take the record for the best defence this decade.

So yeah cool stat when you consider how much our defence has been underrated.

Bit off topic but the stat I enjoy is that we haven't lost a game whilst wearing the old red V heritage Guernsey and we even played Collingwood with that jumper once.

Shame after this year I couldn't say haven't lost in any heritage jumper thanks to Carlton. We won in 1996 with the Centenary red and white stripes jumper against the dees and warmed up in knickerbockers.

I see you started this thread on the MB, which has allowed once again for the anti swans trolls to come out. Its good for us to know this stuff but why allow these rats the pleasure of putting us down.
