been on the doggies board havig a bit of a cruise and noticed that some dogs supporters were keen to offload a. cooney and heyd be happy to accept our first rounder and a fringe player. seems like a bargain to me just wondering what we all think about this? i realise even if both bigfooty parties are happy i doesnt mean squat but for the fun of it.....

Nah, I doubt Bulldogs will get rid of him.
He has potential.
 
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm Talented lad. Rocket is a fine coach of the young I'm told. Something other than the club? Homesick for S.A.? He'd have some crow-eater mates at Geelong.
 
Good player, handy on anyones list.

But we don't need him and i would prefer to keep our first round pick anyway.
 
cooney is a freaking gun, he'll play 250 games in his career, kicks goals gets a hard ball and runs
 
He has struggled with OP this year. Was walking laps at the beginning of the year. Now he is getting tagged.

He is a gun and would happily give that up
 
hed add x factor to the midfield, in my eyes hes a similar player to gaz in that he is very fast, loves to run and can go farward and kick goals. Joel Coreys good but i think cooney is better and our already insane midfield would be better with him rotating through it.

No way, IMO Cooney is overrated and Corey is underrated.
I prefer Corey over Cooney 100%.

Joking aren't you? Again, the ridiculous overrating of Prismall continues.

Firstly, the Dogs would not offload Cooney. He was #1 pick and will be a star. And secondly, if he was available we'd give up Prismall and then some to get him.
 
Pass also, no good when the pressure is on. Mentally fragile and we don't need him,I wouldn't mind grabbing Hargraves though.
 
If Rocket was prepared to offload Cooney, there would be a very good reason behind it, he's shifty as..

I say pass, we have great depth atm, and I'd rather see a young gun of our own come through and not give ANYTHING up.

I've got a vested interest in Cooney, and I'm here to tell you he would nicely slot into our best 22. He will be an exceptional player.

I'd swap quite a few of our guys for him right now.

The Prismall-overrating really annoys me.

Hasn't playes since our streak and was terrible against the Roos. His direct opponent, Simpson I believe ripped him to pieces.
 
i like the way cooney plays when he is playing good, but there is a big difference between that and him playing a bad game whether it be because of a tag or otherwise. However, i think he would do a great job here because teams would probably tag other players first. Other than that there is the issue of who would you take out of our midfield, and personally, i think our midfield is fine the way it is.

u obviously dont play football do u? prismall is cool and calm and executes extremely well. how old is he 20? give him a break he will develop in to a very very good player. the simpson comment has no credibility as simpson is a seasoned veteran and regularly plays that well regardles of the opponent and prob hasnt got a game lately because the team is settled and it is a very tough gig to try to break in to that midfield.
