Gault makes Jesse White look like a star. Gault is barely making the grade in the VFL. He'll never make it as an AFL footballer. Its as simple as that.

Interesting to see White named on HF line in the VFL side. Looks like his stint in defence may have been for his education as a forward, rather than a permanent move. In coming weeks, I expect White will return to the AFL team as third tall forward (and support ruckman) beside Cloke and Moore, with Howe moving onto a wing.

Add to that the return of Sidebottom and Varcoe (at the expense of two from Oxley/Maynard/Blair/Sinclair/Goldsack/Aish/Crisp) and we'll have a really strong looking team.

Because all that was evident 2 to 3 years ago, he should of been delisted back then and most people could see it except for the club and a few staunch Gaultificants.

No he was like Blair when he last played VFL very average... but got promoted anyway. Yet others have 30 disp games weekly and can't get a look in.

I heard something on a footy field once that I think applies to Gault.
