He's expected to re-sign AFTER the trade week. Once the wheeling and dealing has been completed this week, the club will know exactly what it has in the kitty to pay him. I suppose you could call that salary cap management - not sure if you comprehend that notion.

Facts actually, Carlton are a nothing for years to come, get used to it, you lot are a hack of a club, no players nothing anybody else wants, enjoy being mediocre, enjoy being the Fiztroy of the modern era you deserve it.

I'm not going to form my opinion on your club by a couple of supporters, but if i was i'd think that the club is a disillusioned bunch of tools who completely overestimate every single player on their list and the entire club, have a massive chip on their shoulder about Carlton and are generally not as gifted mentally.

Phew, cos I'd hate to do the same based on the views of one Carlton supporter.
Because if I was, I'd conclude that someone cares enough to respond and therefore deems the criticisms of his club by these "tools" worth defending!
Let me repay the favour... (consider yourself a worthy tool too!)
I don't think it is "inferiority complex" so much as resentment of the taunts of those clubs like Carlton who seem to trot out this inferiority verbage (most often by accusing us having an "inferiority complex"). In fact, it implies you think you're superior and that anyone else, ipso facto, must be inferior and, most illogically of all, must be suffering an "inferiority complex".
IMHO, each supporter uses whatever past, present or future glories as evidence for the greatness of their club. Yours rest in a proud past history of on field successes and a consequent off field patronage. Ours rests in a proud modern history since 1974 and right now in a young and exciting list and coach and, with respect to Carlton, holding the all-time AFL record winning margin over Carlton of something in the vicinity of 124 points.
