Sure i get that but after 2ish years surely people miss family or at least understand that others miss family and friends. Most of the people i know in Perth are expats as well.
Well done to the WA premier, if he wants to keep COVID out so the locals can live a normal life good luck to him.

What’s the plan for Victoria? We don’t have one. Our only plan is to get vaccinated and get your booster shot.
They are out of ideas. They’re just sitting in the background and letting us all catch COViD with no plan to stop it spreading. They have totally lost control.
Nobody is checking into QR codes anymore, nobody is checking for vaccination status. I’ve caught COViD, I have no idea where from, my uncle has caught it and spread it to his son and grandkid. He also has no idea where he could have caught it.
These numbers have no hope of coming down. They will only increase. With everyone using RAT test these days, how many are actually reporting they have COViD? It means they have to isolate for 7 days. How are we supposed to trust that everyone is doing the right thing? How many people are just walking around doing their business knowingly having COViD?
It’s out of control here and we have no solution so good luck to the WA premier if he wants to keep it out.
We need kids back at schools..Once school starts for the eastern states and we see 'Let it rip 2.0' there will probably be another wave of sick/isolating parents leading to the same issues we've already faced.
Isn't it the states that control lockdowns/restrictionsWe need kids back at schools..
not because they missed so much face to face. oh no..As business want workers back.
Honestly 2020 LNP said kids cannot get COVID.. now they do not even bother pretending.
5-10% of the workforce be out if schools not back...
Need those worker ants back.. International students now can work 40 hours a week.. we do not care if you study
15 year olds out there on those fork lifts tomorrow. no need for a license..
Scotty not even pretending he cares about the little folk now. all expendable so big business can make more cash
Alternative who knows Labour just as bad.. look after their mates as well
it has been.Isn't it the states that control lockdowns/restrictions

Every other CHO gets ripped for being media hungry and wanting to be front and centre so that's another one that you can't really win either way either as the CHO themselves or the Premier.
"It's almost certainly greater than a million — we don't know the true number because not everybody is getting tested — either because their symptoms are mild, they don't recognise the symptoms, they don't seek to get tested or they can't get access to a test," Dr Gerrard said.
Well, you do your best to make sure you don't get it. Curbing your activities and socialising for a few weeks can be done. I realise those who have to work each day need to be hypervigilant and ensure that their workplaces are reasonably protected by protocols. You are lucky, like Queensland, that your population is fairly spread out, which makes it easier to have distance between each other. If it's inevitable that a virus will spread throughout the community, you need to take the health advice and get vaxed and boosted at the very least.Talking of CHOs, here's the Queensland one today on the number of active cases in the state:
He also stated they haven't reached their peak.
COVID-19 peak 'could be a few days' away, CHO says, as Queensland records another 10 deaths
Queensland records 10 new COVID-19 deaths and has 884 people in hospital being treated for symptoms, with international borders now open for fully vaccinated travellers to come to into the state without having to quarantine.www.abc.net.au
Why would WA voluntarily want in on that?
There is a time for them to speak though. He’s been non existent over there.Every other CHO gets ripped for being media hungry and wanting to be front and centre so that's another one that you can't really win either way either as the CHO themselves or the Premier.

Other than a blood test? Don’t know. Friend had a cold just before Christmas, wouldn’t get tested, adamant it was just a cold.Dumb question: if you think you may have had a mild case weeks ago, how do you tell?
There is not a question of letting in Covid or not letting in Covid. There is only the question of letting in Covid now or later. And conditions will never be more favorable for WA than allowing it in right now.Talking of CHOs, here's the Queensland one today on the number of active cases in the state:
