Cory McGrath

In the media today that Richmond has shown interest in Cory McGrath. How do you guys rate him? Personally I haven't seen enough of him to make a comment, but he has shown glimpses in patches when I have seen him.

He is Marty McGrath's cousin as well isn't he?

Probably the unluckiest player on Essendon's list.

This bloke has every right to tell the match committee to go and get well and truly screwed given his treatment in the last 2 years. The supporters can see how good he can be, but, when he is given the opportunity to prove himself (replacement for injured/dropped/suspended players), he's often the first to get the boot back out.

Could understand why Richmond would like him (yes he is a cousin of Marty).

in 2001 he had almost cemented his spot in the team leading up to the finals, the age ran a big story on him and how he had managed to forge his way into the seniors and how the future was so bright, within weeks he was back in the 2s and hasn't played regular footy since.

would be worth little more than a 4th rounder...if your greedy...nothing and we'll pick him up pre season

I've always been a supporter of Corey, but it's time he moved on. Still think he can achieve success at senior level, but it's clear that will never happen at Essendon.
