Taping it. Is it Countdown or Rock Arena at the moment? What bands?

If it helps with you sorting tapes, Rock Arena was on at the time with, of all things, an Angels special.
Didn't spot much calssic stuff up to this point, but fun all the same.

Just finished watching it. There was some fantastic stuff notwithstanding The Angels special.
A few songs from 'Dogs In Space' a great Australian film about alternitive culture in Melbourne in the late '70s-Around the time that I began seeing bands and happily saw a lot that featured in the film.
The Deadly Hume- one of my fave Sydney bands
Three songs from Hunnas 'Human Frailty' Album, including 'Throw your arms around me'.
All in all some great memories for an old geezer like me and a tape I will hang onto.

Countdown's been done too many times over the last few summers. Good to see Recovery for a change of pace.

The trouble with the Countdown episodes DB is they seem to show the same ones (How can you tell? Some might say)
I wanna see the one with The Boys Next Door doing "These boots are made for walking" or The Scientists doing "Last Night" or The Saints doing "Erotic Neurotic".

I think I was in a coma after seeing the Angels. What stuff from "Dogs in space" did they play?

'Golf Course' and 'Rooms for the Memory'. They also played 'Shivers'(The Boys Next Doors version not Marie Hoys.)
I dont think that the Boys Next Door ever played Coundown. That was just a special voiceover Molly did for the film.

Probably (sadly) amongst the many episodes that were trashed by the ABC................

By the way I wish some record company would re-release the soundtrack to "Dogs in Space" on CD - I would buy it just to get "True Love" by the Marching Girls![]()

I was so in love with Suzanne Dowling. Even more so when I found out she was married to Kym Gyngell. It meant I was a chance (well sort of) even though I was ugly....bugger if I had only been funny.![]()
