counter strike problem

just installed source on my new laptop to see if it would work as it isnt much of a gaming system.

anyway i've installed all the updates, changed the video settings to low/medium and i connect to a server and everything looks fine except that i cant move!

i can look around and shoot, but i cant move at all, and its really annoying me cos i want to see if it lags or not.

does anyone know what the problem may be? its problem's something obvious as i am a fair gaming n00b.

Is Source just an online game, or does it have a single player mode aswell? Please tell me, because I might know the problem.

Anyway games wern't meant for laptops, unless you have the greatest video card and greatest laptop then I wouldn't bother even trying games on a laptop.

the control settings menu says the w,s,a,d buttons are for moving and i've tried both but still no movement.

maybe you've pressed talk so instead of moving. you're typing letters into the speech.

With a few commands in the console menu you can have AI bots as team mates or opposition, but they don't present the challenge of playing online.

the only non internet is using AI (which suck) or LAN which is even more fun thanonline.
