Didn't really think much of big Courtney when he was playing for East Fremantle apart from great hands, aggressive and mammoth kick.

Johns

Saw this kid at Werribee this year playing for Bendigo Bombers. He came on for the second half kicked 4 or 5 goals and won the game for Bombers. Tall and strong will play for the Bombers in the AFL next year 2004.

That was the moment that truly convinced many Essendon fans about him (or those who were there on the day ;) )

Well that's great to see that he has improved since his days here!!!! How's his hip problems going?

The thing i remember most clearly about Courtney was his ungamely running style in his Puma Grasscats...very funny to watch

Should be over them. Banfield progressively gave him more game time in the second half of the season thereby doing to enough for the rookie list elevation. Pre-season training starts in 3 weeks so we'll know more then.
