I AM shattered, but I've been through worse. My hamstring tear could sideline me for two weeks, four weeks, six weeks, and once again I am in rehab, but my season is not over.
It will test me unquestionably, but I've had a big 12 months and I know fairytales don't always happen.

The injury hurts me, but I am desperate to have impact at the Tigers to repay the faith. And the sooner that happens the better.

So, from that point of view, I'm gutted but this is an opportunity for me now to show value to this footy club off the field.

It's character building, it's in your face, but I intend to hit it head-on. I have to.

I'm genuinely a positive person and I do know I've spoken to countless young blokes who don't get picked for the first game of the season and tell them, mate, it's a long year, and if you can make an impact you will walk away satisfied.

What a night. It would be easy to focus on how I'm feeling and obviously I'm disappointed, but I need to approach this the same way I'd expect a younger player - or any player for that matter.

That is to get on with it and throw myself into rehab - that bloody word again - and be positive.

Went down like he was shot, and was absolutely gutted when he managed to make it to the bench, a disappointing end to a very disappointing night for you Tiger fans.
For his sake and the Tigers sake i hope he is back on the park soon for you.
Good luck for the rest of 09, still a helluva long way to go.

medical staff should be sacked, but honestly it did not look good, i hope he can recover quickly, was just the tip of a very frustrating iceburg.......

Very bad error of judgement by the Richmond medicos to put him back on.

The positive this is that Cousins seems to have his head screwed on the right way at the moment. I was looking forward to him having a good comeback, but alas another chapter to his dramatic comeback.

Our medical staff has always been bad, this doesn't help their cause though.

What a bunch of amateurs, seriously I swear we have people in our club who go out of their way to make sure we never have any feel good moments, same shit different year. :thumbsd:

I guess now that Ben is injured perhaps it might wake a few players up that he isnt the great white knight to hand them success its time they stood up and realised they have to work their arses off to become successful.

I somehow doubt it though.
