Croad / Farmer Factor

These two can be match winners and somwhere along the way may push the Dockers over the line. Because of this they may also claim a few surprise scalps on home turf.Their team have become oblivious to the sapping heat, with the smart rotations, by their coach, giving them constant drive to run out games.

Dockers rely heavily on its mid field of,Bell, Haselby and McManus. They play a chip and run game, a lot of short kicks and uncontested marks, quick hands and running to deliver into the attacking zone, looking for Croad or Farmer. However their disposal can be ordinary. Giving us great opportunities to rebound out of our defensive 50.

We must be "ON" (as with all games)
Gaspar "ON" Croad
Torney "ON" Farmer
Sziller "ON" Bell
Thus the Factor is ruled out of contention.

Again our mid fielders need to prove they are still very much under rated. King & Chaffey seem to be players that give us drive from the middle.
Cambo needs to stay at halfback and attack from defence.
Subiaco is a fast ground and we will need runners.
Drop Knighter (Disappointing I know ) But face reality he is Too Slow & Predictable.
Bring in Coghlan and/or Pettifer they both had good games for Coburg, and rotate off the bench.

This is a win we would have pencilled in, but they are a different team at home. To Win we must run out the game as we did last round.

As he is a far more bigger threat than Croad.

To be brutally honest Gaspar will kill Croad.
But Holland will have to be on his game to be able to take Longmuir and I cant see you shutting down farmer.

Our in and under squad is up there with the best but sadly our recievers are not.
Like last game allot of teams merely let the freo in and unders get the ball and just call for it.
Haselby and Bell both passed it on to the opposition a few times nearly resulting in a goal.

Doesnt Farmer have chronic problems with Hamstrings ...cant see them playing him a full game coming back off injury and with those suspect legs...Croad was only ever a problem at Hawthorn because of the others we had to cover first with Dr Who and Dutchy ...this time he will get the Dr and I think it wont be a problem...your definitely right about the midfield ... could be Rodan's first brownlow votes !!

You do realise torneys record on farmer is probably as good as anyone in the afl's...In fact i don't think farmer has ever beaten torney...

I can recall one good thing Farmer has done on Torney that big hanger he took back in about 98.
We got flogged but can't really remember Torney may still have beaten Farmer.

Sabre, please do not forget that Farmer had a football life before joining the Dockers! As has been pointed out, Torney has tormented Farmer on many occasions before and can rightly claim him to be his bitch!

Also, how are you placed for ruck options? Will this be carried by J.Lo (Jennifer Lopez ) and Eastaugh?

So it is of no consequence that we lost Stafford! We can match Snake Simmonds up with Ray Hall and leave big Otto up forward!

After Ben Holland's taming of Nietz - a far more accomplished footballer than J. Lo - he will be all nice and confident this week.

Darren Gaspar will also be back and will match up nicely on Croad!

Longmuir is quick,atheltic and very nimple.
These can be hardly said for Neitz

Sabre, I think you're merely looking at stats. So Croad's good work in the preseason is now gone? He wasn't bad in the first game and tried real hard against Hawthorn. I wouldn't be underestimating him at all. He's only 22.

Its my opinion that JLO is the more dangerous forward.
