Wot did the guy who was on him do? I listened to the match on radion while doing my uni work, but i must have missed whatever Croads opponent did to him. Besides with Croad, not only did he not get reported, a free kick wasn't even given to the Crows! But they ended up smashing the Dockers so i guess it doesn't matter in the big picture.

Suzi I saw the incident and while it was difficult to determine if it was a reportable offence (I was on a bad angle) it definitelly warranted a free kick. To say the other guy should get reported for croads stupidity is being silly.

You know Suzi, the guy that you apparently want reported better not be the one that Croad crashed into, coz that's just the biggest load of crap.

Stupid idiot deserves to got outed. But what Croad did is certainly no worse than what Ray Hall (I think) got away with by smashing Walkers nose a couple of weeks ago.

Another hot flush from Croad. The Crow (Doughty I think) certainly deserved a free kick. I was p1ssed at Croad for being so reckless, but if Ty Zantuck, Weasel Matera et al. get off for that kinda thing then so will Croad. Then again, the tribunal are full of surprises.

well they may not have gotten that free kick but Adelaide sure did get plenty of weak free kicks inside their 50 which resulted in goals
but even though the umps did give the crows about 5 or so goals from free kicks it would never of had an impact on the game adelaide played well and were clearly the better team on the day i just wish freo could have given Chucky a win for his last game but i spose kickett never got a win on his last game

I'd say Croad will get 1-2 weeks, from what I saw he tried to lay the hip and shoulder, but when the Adelaide player tried to avoid it Croad collected him with the elbow to the head. I guess it depends how they see it, but it was fairly blatent.

Yeah Croady got him (Doughty) with the elbow, then followed up a bit later with a punch that seemed to connect with Tyson Edwards....not unlike an incident with Dustin Fletcher earlier in the year....not sure if he'll get picked up for that....
As for the frees in the first quarter to the Crows, I reckon they were definitely soft, but probably only the one (the one to Hewitt) was not there IMO (and he missed that shot anyway). A combination of poor umpiring and recklessness by the Freo defenders. Oh well, not to worry.

It's fair to say the tribunal are consistentl inconsistent. Don't be surprised if Croad gets outed! Croad does seem to get those hot flushes again, kinda like Farmer does. Maybe suzi_olsen is just p*ssed off at the Crows losing.

MMMM...... Croad suspended took 22 rounds but I always knew it was gonna happen.It'll happen yearly and on a more regular basis too from next year, just has anger management probs I reckon thats why the hawks had to lose him he was gonna do someone in and the hawks wouldn't of liked that ,now its Freo's problem or it could be Brisbanes probs from the rumour we are hearing.Oh well can't help bad luck.

Frankly Trent got what he deserved. Even if the receiving player was relatively unhurt you can hardly have players Croad's size throwing elbows around willy-nilly.
The coaching staff should educate Croad in the correct ways to dish out treatment, ie within the rules or with a bit of subtlety dammit!
