There was 30 000+ at the game on Saturday, this all goes well for the club from a financial point of view.

Geelong aren't the biggest drawing club at Subi, so I'm assuming this influx of people is new Docker supporters (come out of the wardrobe!!).

I remember reading in the football record that the break even crowd at Subi is something like 24,000, and then after that it's $20,000 for every 1000 more people through the gates (making assumptions on % of members showing up, and proportion of kids to adults). You would think that if we can get over 30,000 for each of the remaining 4 home games it should mean the club, at the very least, turns a profit this year.

And I would expect close to 40,000 against Brisbane in 3 weeks. Amazing what a few wins can do. :D

Barring inclement weather, i'd be disappointed with anything less than 35,000, especially if we beat Hawthorn.

If we can get over 30,000 to watch sh*thouse sides like Geelong and Carlton, you'd think there would be a bigger crowd against a top side. Form pending, i'd hope for close to 35,000 against the Crows as well.

Everyone loves a winner. It's great for the club though.

The thing that craps me off is every single week without fail since we've been winning there's always some twit in my seat.

The other thing is, well into the first quarter there's always a group of gits standing in the aisle, blocking the view of the game, staring blankly at their just bought tickets trying to work out where they're sitting.

Well I was there, but you'll never catch me describing myself as a Dockers supporter.

Actually now I think of it, why was I there?

Then there's the trip to get the beers in the second quarter, food in the third quarter and the trip to the loo in the fourth quarter. (and why does it alway happen when the ball's in our forward line??)

The crowd of 30,000 was great on saturday night. Realistically speaking we will probably get about 33,000 against Brisbane as saturday arvo games don't seem to be as well suported.

Come on Q, take a big breath and let it all out, "yes I am a Dockers fan and have been scared to say it for many years".

It's ok we understand the torment you have felt inside yourself.

That'll happen the day after Kenny pledges his allegiance to the Eagles :D.

Actually I was there with a Dockers supporting mate who occasionally has been known to come to watch the Eagles with me.
