In what can only be described as a high standard Night Owls bowls match, this evening the Crows Boys (Bassett, Stevens, Clarke and another) defeated the side I play in, Holler Heroes, in the Grand Final playoff at the Sturt Bowling Club. The final score line after 15 ends was 10 all however as the Crows boys had won 8 ends to 7 they took home the major prize. Hollers Heroes was leading 10-9 (7 ends each won by both sides) going into the final end and was then holding two shots before the last bowl was bowled. In what can only be described as the perfect bowl by Scott Stevens, he rolled down a great bowl to win the end and therefore the game.
