Crows Carols

Anyone heading down tonight? I doubt too many people from here would..I went along last year and it was pretty good. Wasn't very 'Crows' orientated, there were no players, but I do believe Brett Burton will be there tonight.

Mark "Touchdown" Holden will be the guest judge at the Crows Christmas Carols from 7pm, casting his eye over the musical and singing talents of current and former Crows players, staff and well know personalities.

There will also be a Crows choir and carols sing-along with a professional orchestra.

Bring your family and friends along for a festive evening with the Adelaide Crows.

The Crows supporters group will be running a BBQ and selling soft drinks.

Well, I'm pretty sure Chris Knights, Ivan Maric and Richard Douglas didn't attend, because they were sitting in front of me at an advanced screening of 3:10 to Yuma.
Ivan broke wind particularly loudly at a rather quiet point in the film. Not quite carols, but still musical to some degree I suppose. Ironically, I found it a shame Mark "Touchdown" Holden wasn't there to analyse it.

It was pretty good, although most people there would have been twice my age. I thought the best part was when Triggy told everyone Simon Goodwin's wife had a boy earlier in the evening, made my day Scott Stevens, Tony Armstrong, Brett Burton, Rhett Biglands and Nick Gill on the guitar gave a lovely reindition of Drummer Boy, but changed the words around eg "Craigy smiled at me..." That was pretty good. The rest was a little bit cheesy though.
