That's rich.
There are posts on your board throwing up Myke Cook and Tony Armstrong as trade suggestions for Jacobs and Walker.
That's as realistic as an offer of Steven Browne and Joe Anderson for Shaun McKernan and Ricky Henderson/Rory Sloane.
And Adelaide have done a stack of trades in the last six seasons.
As straight spud swaps it's ridiculous, throwing in pick shuffles makes it more realistic but it likely won't fly with ratten looking to hold onto both players.
Myke Cook to me is garbage but then other people have other ideas Armstrong slightly better often plays passibly but nothing special.
A 2nd round pick I'd value above all the players thrown up by either side.
There is no massive prize here, it's inconsistant player trades vs potential player trades adelaide really don't have a huge squad to look through and certain players being no goes and having a lot of ruck prospects still hanging around there isn't really much on the table.
The factors that are known aren't exactly exciting either side.
Maybe walker comes across gives some drive off half back, maybe he continues to be an unaccountable shanker that's in and out of the side.
Jacobs is potentially the best young ruckman in the league. He is worth a first round pick.
This is all the evidence neccessary that on the table players become overated, the number of better performed players and up and comers this rating sits him up with is just a joke.
There are a bunch of rucks around the league that are worth a first rounder, they certainly aren't a clubs reserve ruckman. There would be a great deal of the population that had no idea who Sam Jacobs was before he became trade bait.
