Jerome you can't imagine how much I look forward to this post each week - really hard to get the info and typically Sth Aust - the SA paper do not believe anyone out of SA needs or wants to know anything about the Crows (hardly ever any SANFL results in the Vic papers)

Really appreciate :)

Nye is playing off a back flank for North's reserves. I was surprised when he was dropped after two league games as I thought he was starting to find his feet at that level.

Gibson has been named in the Norwood Reserves. I have noticed Josh Krueger is not playing for Glenelg though. I think his time is just about up at the end of the year unfortunately. We cant have a player that can only play every second or third week. I think Krueger is talented but he is always going to be injury prone

He's a solid player with a great leap, but we can't afford to perservere with him any longer IMO. Its not like he's the next Carey in the waiting.

Bad backs and football are seriously bad mixes, especially for KPP. :(

I'm pretty sure he doesn't learn about the reserves until today.

Cheers guys.

I forgot to mention in last nights post that the information came from the 5RPH SANFL show.

Unfortunatley they dont call out the reserves teams. So If I post on a Thursday night, I can only post the seniors. I cant confirm the reserves until I have Fridays paper and can get a few minutes to edit the original post.

Yet again the Eagles are on TV this weekend , its WWT v South Adelaide.

Fans of Matthew Smith will be happy to know there is a poster of Smithy in this weeks SANFL Footy Budget. You'd better get down to Oval Ave tomorrow and get your copy macca23.

In the Coach's comment section, the SANFl coaches are asked to name three people they would like to have a round of golf with.

A Jarman: Leigh Matthews for his thoughts on football. Andrew McLeod - to ask if he still loves playing football and Glenn McGrath.

I think Jars is becoming obsessed. Andrew may not be the player that he was but at least he hasnt refused to play for the club.

My word I will Jerome!! ;)

It'll go in the same collection as the pics of David Gallagher, Ben Marsh, and Ian Downsborough - as a lesser item of course though because they actually sorta played games. :D

I find them to be great dartboard covers. :)

Went to the North v Centrals game, in the ressies game, i thought young Nye was a little quiet, did a couple of good things, but nothing compared to what he did to earn a spot in the league side. I thought Griffen was fantastic, he won most ruck taps and did quite well around the ground. in the league, only ladhams was playing and i thought he played reasonably well, got a fair bit of the footy and used it pretty good, but when you lose by 20 goals, its hard to give any rooster players credit.

After Saturdays performance by the Roosters, Jarman should be asking his whole team if they love football. That a disgraceful effort by the NAFC. He can start with Chris Ladhams.

The North midfield was absolutley belted. Ladhams got a few touches but was pretty ordinary all day.

In the ressies, I thought North's defence was pretty good. Nye did a solid job in defence in wet, windy conditions. Nothing really spectacular though.

Griffen was very good in the first half of the ressies and dropped out a bit in the second half. Took some good marks around the ground and was good at the centre bounces. Played in defence and provided some run from the backlines in the second.
