Just got an email from the club about a day they're having for Round 1 at the Wallis Cinema in the North Adelaide. I haven't called them yet but from the sounds of it you pay $15 to watch the Crows game v Collingwood in round 1 live on the Movie Screen. I have to say Fantastic Idea!

I'm txting my mates to see if anyone wants to come but I reckon I'll definitely be there. Hopefully it's a regular thing, I'd pay to go a few times a year to watch the game like that!

Yeah it's been in the past couple of Members updates.

I was thinking about going, as it would be a different experience watching a game on a movie screen (I presume they'd be using Picadilly's cinema 1 for this), but not sure whether I'd pay $15 for it.

Maybe they could do a retro night and show an away night game at the drive-in as well. Even if they charged the standard $20 per carload (maximum 5 per car), that's $4-$5 per head.

I only live a few minutes away so I might just go along. Interesting idea.
Might be pretty fun if it fills up!

There is one friend who is supposedly a massive Crows fan but never been to a game, always has an excuse. So I'm going to try and get her to go to this...

Sounds good, but I wouldnt pay $15 when I can sit at home and watch it (hopefully in HD) on my plasma for free though

True but when I do that (On LCD not Plasma though) I am the only one yelling at the screen and the GF is yelling at me to stop yelling at the screen...

Imagine a few hundred of us yelling at the screen...

Oh and we kick the first person to yell out "They can't hear you ya know"

I bet I end up sitting in front of the people who yell "JUST KICK THE BLOODY THING" into the back of my head all game...

What happened to the Carlton Club? do they still do that? I need somewhere to watch it next week! Where I don't have to pay $15 so i can go to beer.

Sorry mate, they wound that up in 2007. I quite enjoyed getting cheap Imperial Pints at the Stag when that was on.

Yeah it's a good idea but not for me.

I wonder if they will switch between the AFL game and the SANFL game on ABC between the goals or between the breaks in the quarters. I doubt it, so i will be staying home and watching it there.
