Let's do this biatchezzz!!!

Win this and we jump to 5th on the ladder by my calculations.

Everything to gain, much to lose.

A loss at our home ground here would be unacceptable and could see us drop to 10th.

A lot to like about our last couple of outings. Back on an even keel at 3-3 after a stuttering start. Largely driven by some keen youngsters in ROB and the Berg standing up and taking their opportunities by the short and curlies.

ROB has shown more around the ground and especially in his follow up efforts than Sauce, who has been a loyal servant but Grandpa Age has caught up with him.

Himmelberg has been competitive and honest while also hitting the scoreboard. All you can ask from a 3rd gamer.

In addition though, Himmelberg plays more like a traditional big man than Jenkins and the space and opportunities that has created have benefited both Tex and our smalls, finally kicking the 100 points last week.

Gibbs is back and it's time for Gibbs to put in a dominant display.

Perhaps the most heartening change we've seen is the Don coaching from the bench, refusing to be a bystander and cutting out the middleman with great success.

So with a win we can go as high as 5th on the ladder. Nice.
So pumped for this game. Season defining.

Not only get up to 5th with a win but get above port and have all the momentum into the showdown.

From there we would be 5-3 and deep in the mix with games against Brisbane, west coast at home and Melbourne. All winnable.

It's a must win that will shape our season.

Need to win by 27 or more points against the Dockers to take 5th position.

Pyke should start the game on the bench. Leave Campo and Co to guard the bee. I'd even tell them to stay there during the quarter time breaks.

Ideally I would have Pyke as our runner as well. Our players need instant live instructions when they resort to doing stupid things.

Most of the coaches seem to be coaching from the bench. Watched some games today and this was the case. Makes sense with the runner changes and a lot of teams introducing young players. In time I feel every coach will coach from the bench/boundary line similar to the NFL. You employ your line coaches and strategists to sit in the box and communicate to the coach on the sidelines who instantaneously implements that strategy to players. Makes sense.

Our next three games are against 4th 5th and 6th. All very winnable. Win those and we are a steady top 4.

But first today we play a good coach. Its contest by contest.

This game is going to be the one that will tell us the psyche of the players. Win against an in form team to send us into the top 8, would do the team morale a lot of good and shows they’ve got the hunger back. Lose this, and it would seem we’re still in la la land, and looking like a laughing stock team at home.

Tex and Rory to play blinders and the team to follow suit. Crows by 29.

Tex normally loves playing Freo...

Just want a switched on hard start. Jump them by 3 or 4 goals early and crowd will shut them out for rest of game.

Point of order - you can’t start game day threads before midnight of game day eve. Drugs Are Bad Mackay? , relapse can you issue an infraction to this scofflaw please. He’s ruining the internet for everyone else.

Expecting Ross to try and clog our game like no other team this season. If you thought the Hawks and the North games were ugly, B B B Baby, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

Himmer to kick 3 because of the crowd’s positive vibes alone wanting him to keep JJ out of the line up.

Sloane Smith Betts and Laird will all be tagged and scragged constantly and Tex will be held on to at every contest, all with the umpire’s blessing.

But we’re gradually starting to learn to deal with that crap and will get the win.

Yeah I am worried about how Rossco will clog us up.

The positive aspect to this is hearing Pyke say they will.come up with a plan to combat their style (our words to that affect) during the week.

I think the lightbulb has gone in with Pykey thst his first choice gameplan is fundamentally flawed against ultra defensive teams. Since the GC we have adjusted to combat this.

Another test of this today.

The key to what hell we have done in the last 3 weeks is get back to basics and keep it simple.

Just get the job done.

We can only beat who they put in front of us.

Unlike those port power campaigners who really only like to show up for two games a year (vs the crows) we need to just focus on what we need to do to win.

I tell my kids the same. Don’t worry about ladder position just play as hard as you can and be savage and put the fear of god into them.

The rest will take care of itself.
