Stiffy has got his mojo back, he's been fantastic.

Otten is already a star, he barely ever puts a foot wrong.

Still don't know why we kick out from a point so slow though.

Otten won't be a star until he develops a long kick and has the confidence to use it, at the moment he doesn't have the confidence so he attacks but looks for a handball option instead of the longer option by foot.

Surely Douglas' time is up right...what does he offer? Actually played ok last week but that was an abberation. I haven't really knocked Douglas much but we gotta call it as is here, twelve undamaging disposals today and hasn't laid a tackle. Gone.

Yup. Despite the loss, I also take some satisfaction out of third year "answer to all of our key forward woes" Tippett taking the honours in the ruck.

Our forward line work today I thought was outstanding when you consider the inside 50s were something like 62-42. To have 26 scoring shots from that many entries is a pretty good effort.

Despite popular belief, ee have some good forwards now. The future direction of this club is soley dependent on how we cobble to get some sort of decent midfield.

I guess Tex played pretty damn well, missed a few chances, coulda had 5 or 6. But I think he should collect the rising star nom.

I reckon I was kinda lucky to be spared from watching our horrible play as I was listening to the MMM commentary. But still it was horrible to my ears hearing the same word over again, turnover this, turnover that. *sigh*

He has to play there, simple as that. We have two young ruckmen in Griffin and Maric who on their day are as good as any in the AFL, the time has come back them in and play Tippett where we've always intended to play him.

Was a good game today for him, too bad he had only a few other with him.
