If so, then surely this Sundays match against the Hawks should qualify.
If we somehow craft or graft a win in this one, surely we can lay claim to have made some significant progress this season.
With the Demons really struggling, the Eagles sliding, the Bombers re-building and even the Saints not looking likely, we have a great chance to leap-frog these teams and a couple of others if we can score in this massive, massive game. (As tough as it will be!)

Take the chance Tigers... time to nominate yourselves as the first "big improver" in 2008!

I do see where you are coming from, but todays game definitely could end up being a season defining game. We do well here it will show the boys we can really step it up to the big teams.

As much as it is gunna be a tough game to win, I see it as a game that comes close one of the 'must win' games.

Today's game is the acid test for our vastly improved defence. If our midfield can at least break even and the defence holds, our forwards should be too dangerous for their workmanlike defence.

I think if it's going to be close you'll get up but if the Hawks can get a break on the scoreboard it could sap you so it might be a blowout.

Just as long as it's a clean game, nothing stupid in the umpiring department and the Hawks win I'll be happy

Really looking forward to this one. Suspect quite a few Hawk supporters are too, if nothing else to put to rest (for a little while) the Wallace vs Clarkson thing.

We're probably not historical enemies, but there's been a bit of bad blood lately (Stafford springs to mind for one). Should be a ripper.

We dont know how many of these crunch games tery has already had in the past 2 years. It may be that we hav'nt won any of them and the football did'nt come out to be signed. Just a thought...

Nah, we won the first one... I think it was against the Bombers, but maybe it was Collingwood. Definitely lost the one against the Saints, where he chopped the ball up into little pieces!
