McAfee got into trouble with the SEC for his pump and dumps, and I believe he had legal trouble for tax evasion. Musk is reportedly under investigation by the SEC over his dogecoin tweets too.

Adoption isn't particularly important to price action. It's hype that keeps the price of shitcoins pumping.

There should have been 100s from that 16-17 era in trouble for the pump and dumps

Yeah it is but that just means when (not if) the music stops everyone holding is ****ed. Adoption is a safety net that almost none have acquired
