Bitcoin isn't a shitcoin like Doge which was created as a joke.

It'll also increase exponentially over the years as a store of value due to being deflationary.

Dogecoin is neither. An infinite supply means that unless it's relentlessly shilled by someone like Elon, it's unlikely it'll ever significantly increase in price and will just continue to be a pump and dump.

Somewhere around the end of Jan where it spiked sharply. During the Gamestop stuff from memory.

Wasn't doing much for years until that point.

Looking at historical DOGE/BTC chart from 2015 to now, you would think there isn't much room for dogecoin to moon from here. As a store of value it holds up reasonably well against bitcoin, but I wouldn't be buying now.

Maybe this time is different.

The gamestop and doge pumps always leave someone holding the bags, and usually people who can least afford to lose money.

That's why I'm more than happy to see the SEC step in. Elon is a campaigner.

Yeah. Best to stay away from coins like this.

Elon may have just been having a lend but people hang onto his every word.

Definitely shouldn't be taking financial advice from him.

Just keep adding small amounts. Whatever you can afford. Fees are all percentage based anyway

And offload any dead coins. I just offloaded all my TRX for CELR… going to ride that wave for a while and then convert to BTC.

I put in about 5k before the crash (across multiple cryptos), don't think I'll ever get it back but it's not worth enough to bother selling now so just going to hold it forever more in case it does boom again.

If not, it's only 5k invested lost. Not life-ending.
