Pretty cut and dry isn’t it.

You made a prediction. The prediction was wrong. It happens.

Maybe be a little less condescending about predictions and people will troll you less about them being wrong?
Is this the only thread where you and burge13 like the same posts?

Very interesting read on the Ripple court case here as someone who hasn't been keeping up with the news.

The article goes into the wider ramifications of the outcome for the crypto space, how it's a make or break for Ripple, and how XRP is a solution trying to find a problem.

For those who want the TLDR version:
"A win for Ripple would not only humiliate the agency (SEC), but embolden the crypto industry, which has long accused the SEC of failing to develop a coherent way to regulate blockchain technology. "

"For the SEC, the Ripple case is a test of strength. If the agency wins, its victory will spell trouble for many other crypto companies. If it loses, the outcome will mean humiliation for America’s top financial cop and the erosion of its enforcement powers."

"The best outcome, according to many lawyers and policy makers, would be for Congress to devise a new system of rules to supplement the Howie test (sic), and that take account of the unique properties of crypto. But Congress moves slowly and crypto is not high on its agenda. This means that the regulatory clarity the crypto industry has long sought is most likely to come in the form of a decision in SEC v. Ripple."

I honestly don’t think there will be any clarity on crypto regulations from this case and it will get settled behind closed doors. Any legal documents from the case that could provide clarification are being heavily redacted for the public.

Given what the SEC are now doing with Coinbase, it seems that they would prefer to go after crypto companies based on loose laws, rather than actually provide clarity to anyone so they can comply with the law.

Good way of keeping the majority of the public in the traditional finance world if uncertainty continues with crypto regulation. They’re basically acting as the enforcer for the traditional finance sector. They also wouldn’t bother with any of this if crypto was still seen as a fad that won’t succeed long term; but it’s in their best interests to support the centralized banks in the short term while the majority of the world still use them.

‘Technical issue’…. Can’t imagine this ‘technical issue’ occurs if they aren’t looking to relist soon. Explains the quick 10% pump this morning though and shows how quick this will surge whenever it is actually relisted.

Any chance of actually understanding my point before posting something for likes?

Given that this is pretty much the only thread that I follow on BF, I'd say you're off the mark here.

I'm not one to get involved in internet shit fights, so I'll leave you to it :thumbsu:

Sorry mate, just got a bit fired up last night.

Market looking and feeling pretty sketchy right now.
It's very quiet isn't it. There is a golden cross in the next few days if Btc can hold above 46k. Going to be an interesting weekend and week ahead either way.

Market looking and feeling pretty sketchy right now.
Volume on the day of the crash and then yesterday has still been well above where it has been since May, but that flash crash has flushed a bit of confidence for the moment. I do wonder what triggered that crash, was it purely a few whales not happy with the El Salvador news? Open interest was nothing out of the ordinary, certainly not at the levels from April.

ETH back into the August range that it had broken out of this time last week, worrying for the short term if it closes in here on the daily. That was a big resistance level to break through, and it appeared steady at the higher levels last weekend.

Shupe LUNA just continuing on with a 30% pump day despite the rest of the market being down. Any news that triggered this pump?

Still 2-3 weeks for the Col-5 upgrade for LUNA. It's a massive step for LUNA. Coming with that is a burn of roughly $300 million LUNA, causing a massive supply squeeze.

If LUNA doesn't reach $100 in the next month or two, it'll come pretty close to it.
