Anyone a fan? Alot like FarCry but maybe better. Only just started playing and seems a good game.

Great game, although it goes a little downhill about half way. No way as long as Far Cry either.
I still enjoyed it thoroughly though.

I really like the non-linearity of the game. And the enemy AI is superb, especially the human enemies.

I played up until I got a little way through the weird alien bit and then got sick of it. As for the enemy AI, I thought it was a bit of a mixed bag. In close, it was quite smart and would sneak around corners and try to trap you. When you were far away, however, it was pitiful. I'd stand in a tower and shoot one guy from far away and watch his buddy either sit there as if nothing happened or run around aimlessly like a headless chicken. This made things quite easy as you could slowly pick them off but it was also quite boring. Sniping was therefore completely ruined in the game.

The game is good fun but it's nothing revolutionary. It's pretty much just a slightly more open ended FPS done well with good graphics.

Agree with that.

Sniping is an easy way out, but if you play it more attackly and on delta it is a good challenge and offers some really immersive and fun firefight experiences.

The engine is really good though, and playing it on a good machine is a treat, great explosion effects, destructible environments and other cool effects improve the immersiveness, which adds to the gameplay. I wouldn't bother trying to play it on anything other than a high end PC though.

And the alien bit is a let down. If the game was like the first half the whole way, then it would be better.
